How do I keep business and personal spending separated?
Every receipt is either business or personal, and the two never mix in your totals.
How it helps
Most self-employed people run both kinds of spending through the same card and the same phone. The toggle is what keeps your business records clean without needing a second bank account.
Using it
- Mark a receipt business or personal at upload time — each side has its own category set.
- Flip it later from the receipt or the Receipts table if it landed on the wrong side.
- Filter the table by business or personal to see either world alone; business exports carry only business records.
Good to know
- Category suggestions follow the toggle — a business coffee lands in a business category, a personal one doesn't touch your business totals.
The boundary
Stacko keeps the two separated once you mark them; deciding what counts as a business expense is your call (or your accountant's).
